His soft whisper could turn into a growl worthy of a magnificent lion. From his earliest recordings like “Cry To Me” to the later works including my favorite “Fast Train” on the Don’t Give Up On Me CD, Solomon always knew how to tug at the heartstrings and yet his music and voice were so amazing that you couldn’t help smilin. It’s true, Everybody needs somebody to love and we will always need Solomon Burke.  ” Sing on’ from the heavens”
